Hey, MFP community!
My name is Mike. I'm 23 years old. I'm a CNA.
I'm a HUGE emotional eater and as a result of that I had gotten (embarrassingly) obese. When it got to the point that I was constantly sleeping and out of breath I decided that it was probably due to the negligence of my health. I was recommended by a family member to a GP. She did all my blood-work and told me it was safe to go on a diet/exercise with no restrictions. I'm proud to say I had a starting weigh of 210 LBS. and now currently weight 189 LBS. and even though that's only 21 LBS. I can already feel the difference. I feel fantastic. I look forward to making friendships with all you guys on here.

So wise getting it under control while you are still young! Just hold something that weighs 21 pounds and you'll know why you are feeling the difference. Good job!0

Welcome and congrats! How tall are you? I wouldn't normally consider a male at 211 to be obese. Not skinny maybe, but theres lots of males that start out at a higher weight0
