I have been slacking on off on running and logging this week! Stressful work combined with my husband being out of town. I have a trail half marathon tomorrow though.

    06/01 - 2 miles
    06/05 - 4 miles

    Total 6 miles/130 goal

    June 1 - 5.1 miles
    June 2 - strength training
    June 3 - 5.3 miles
    June 4 - strength training
    June 5 - 5.35 miles - beach run!

back of one heel/ankle is sore this evening - could have been from the beach run. If I wear heels it is much better. So I'm walking around in shorts and high heels. Wonder what my husband will think when he comes home. Going to ice it now.

@skippygirlsmom - wow that's a streak you have going! May 19th! You deserve a rest day. But you are probably like me, you don't want one.

    @skippygirlsmom - Streakin'!!
@ddmom0811 - high heels and shorts... hope you are not going out for a walk in that :)
@mmabry72 - welcome back! Good Luck with the 10k - you will be awesome! Just have fun with it!
@briebee7 - Have fun with the trail half - I am envious... well just sort of. A trail half would actually frighten me!
@SimoneBee12 - glad you are feeling better and able to get out running again!
@SBRRepeat - lovely trail even if hilly, for a run!

    Date.......Miles......Total
    06/01.....5.49.......5.49
    06/02.....4.71.....10.20 - Race pace +Strength training
    06/03.....0.00.....10.20 - Rest
    06/04.....4.15.....14.35 - Sprints +Strength training
    06/05.....4.89.....19.24 - Easy

    exercise.png

Very slow, tired run today. Between the sprints and strength training my legs had nothing to give...
Plan calls for another 12 tomorrow - 13+ with warm up/cool down... we shall see how many this tired body can actually manage. Going to bed early! Hope everyone racing this weekend is amazing!

It's the weekend and a beautiful day, here in London!

3.1 miles to add this morning from taking part in Parkrun, taking me up to a total of 6.2 out of 80 so far. My ticker won't open on my phone. :/

    1/6 - Recovery
    2/6 - 14.4 miles (2 runs Trail) Hill repeats
    3/6 - 11.2 Miles (Trail easy pace)
    4/6 - 12.9 Miles (Trail) More Hills
    5/6 - Recovery
    6/6 - 7.3 miles Trail including a bounce

Today I needed to run 20 or 25 but at mile 5 on a flat bit of trail my foot caught a rock and I fell, I managed to continue for a couple more miles but decided that rather than make it worse I would cut it short. Hopefully with some Ice it'll be OK for tomorrow. Worst case scenario I'll have to move my recovery day from Monday. This weeks mileage may be a little short hopefully I can still hit 65 miles for the week but I'll see how the knee/hand goes. When I was fat though I used to bounce much better.

Done another 5km run today, means I'm at 15/75 for the month. Decided I wanted to try and break 30 mins for the first time since starting up again after having had a stress fracture, and ran in 00:30:01. Gutted!

11 miles. Someone was kind enough to take a picture of me while on the track for the first part of my run.
