Playing tourist! We live a little over an hour's drive away in CT...so we go in sometimes and just enjoy the fun city stuff!

At the Rockefeller Tree!

We went to the Pig and Whistle Irish Pub. And yes, I had a roll with my shepherds pie!

We stopped at the M&M store. The only thing I bought was a stuffed yellow m&m guy for my son! lol!

    I wish I could make it out there more often. I love visiting NYC, though I don't think I could live there- LOL.
    One of these years I will Make it out there during Christmastime. It looks so nice that time of year, though COLD- brrrrrrrr.

    It was actually unseasonably warm today. Like mid 60's! I was wearing my coat because I didn't want to have to carry it!! :laugh:

    :flowerforyou: How fun, I been to NYC a few times, I love it right around Christmas time, It has been about 8 yrs since I've been back ( nyc) You look as you had the best time, and you enjoy those rolls a couple will not kill ya, You deserve it after all you lost over 100 lbs. and you look great little lady !
    Thanks for sharing def inspires me with working out and eating right and watching the weight come off !

    What's the deal? Did we switch weather or what? It was in the low 40's this morning and high 50's this afternoon here in AZ today and supposed to be in the 20's to 30's this evening. :bigsmile:

    Looks like great fun. I can only hope the weather is as kind to us when my husband and I go on our much needed time away together in three weeks.

    I live in CT, so I'm only a little less than an hour into the city on the train. I love how the used to have gigantic light bulbs where they now have the Christmas balls.

    Did your food come immediately at Pig and Whistle? Last time I was there, it took a few minutes to get there!

    We actually had great service at The Pig and Whistle. I was impressed!!
