Sex is cardio, correct?

Sex is really great cardio. Sweaty, racing heart, and out of breath. Any idea how many calories are burned so that I can log it?

Hah! I also searched for this. Not sure why it's not in the catalogue of exercise. Even riding lawn mower is in there o.01

It all depends on how ahem "athletic" you are I suppose1

I'm sorry that this isn't included in your regular activity level.2

I think about 25 calories is a safe guess.2

2.5 minutes of strenuous activity doesn't really count, sorry.2

And what about the calories in part of the equation? Is it low carb?0

This is about right, but it also depends on who does what, if you just lay there you aren't going to burn anything. How about you, go buy a heart rate monitor, get it on, and report back with the results.

Why are people always trying to count sex as cardio? OP, if you are in such desperate need for additional calories to eat, then you might need to re-evaluate your goals. Eat less or do more actual exercise (and that's coming from someone who's really flexible with what I include as exercise). Just consider whatever calories you do burn from sex as a bonus deficit.
Side note, certain positions *cough* are a great thigh workout if done with a proper amount of vigor. So there's that.0 -
I dunno. Thrust your pelvis around for a while...but only as far as...you know...just be honest. I'm sure that is a lot of exercise compared to calisthenics or something. Probably something all people should log.1

The real benefit comes from the jello feeling afterward that keeps you away from the fridge!1

There's a site you can google, that has the correct readings for all of the sexual acts. By calorie.... now go out there and be a champ!1
