Yes. Calories in < Calories out is a universal trend.

I am Canadian. I have friends overseas.

    It works.

Also Canadian and confirming it works.

Shivering does not burn a lot more calories. Hushing your dogsled might.

It's the internet. If you access to that. You have access to everything.

it's not a program, it's just a calculator and diary.

I think the purpose of the question might've been more "will the database contain Canadian products?" ie. for foods that are up here in the Great White North, even if the same brand is available to our neighbours to the south, there are occasions where they have different nutritional information, and/or aren't available.

Not to worry though, if your friend comes across a Canadian product that isn't in the database, they're welcome to add it! This helps everyone in the long run. :)

Double doubles can be fit into my calorie plan -- I just have to give up the wine

Triple Triples :D Good thing I don't have coffee very often!! (I call it dessert ;) )

Lots of items in the database with (Canada) at the end.

I think it's because often sites or say watching free online shows don't work in Canada (you get the out of area notification). Or if there aren't that many foods in the database from here. But, I'm Canadian and it's working! :)

And noooo. Nooo double doubles. I hate Tim Horton's gross coffee. How do people even drink that stuff? *shutters*

Yeah, I think it's the most Canuck-friendly database of all the tracking apps

no we are backwards hicks with no computers/internet...

Joking...yes as you can see lots of Canadians on here. However some of our food is not in the database and you have to check fast food/chain places for nutrition as it is different.

I get the internet just fine here in my igloo, eh? ;)

There's lots of Canadian food entries in the database. There *are* some minor differences in US foods prepared for the Canadian market, so I always check the package's nutritional label against what is in the database to be certain. :)
