Created new recipe but calories logged in differently. Found a fix!

I created a recipe for a salad (1 serving) and the app calculated it as 406 but when I saved and logged it in my diary it logged 334 calories. According to my calculations, it didn't log calories for ingredients under 30 calories (lemon juice, cumin, fresh mint, etc). So I doubled the recipe as 2 servings and this brought the calories closer to the accurate total but is still off by 36 calories. I usually don't log calories for spices / lemon juice / herbs . I didn't think they added up to much. But sometimes I wanted to refer to the recipe adder in MFP app to remake a recipe so this time i included all the ingredients, not just the ones with the most significant amount of calories. Anyway, if you've encountered this glitch and it frustrates you, try doubling or quadrupling the recipe to get a more accurate calorie count for one serving. Good luck!

I've found that simply re-saving the recipe usually fixes the problem. I don't know what the glitch is because it's a very random issue. I've created recipes that have only 3 ingredients and they are all above the 30 calorie mark and it doesn't save right.

I have problems when I create the recipe on the PC and then log it on my phone--it sometimes leaves out ingredients and the recipe is only half there...

I have been diligently entering recipes since I cook mainly from scratch; every single one logs wrong, from smoothies to wraps to pasta salad! It is very frustrating, and when I took the time and effort to put in all the bits and bobs as accurately as I can I would really like that accurately accounted recipe to log properly! Grrr.

I almost always have to edit the recipe...delete an ingredient...readd. then save again for the recipe to actually count all the ingredients.

I wonder if it is just dropping non verified items or what. It is super annoying.
