quest bars

Options
As far as I have looked through online, Quest bars are the #1 protein bars around... As they claim, due to low carbs and sugar wirh 21-22 grams of protein. I bought a box of it yesterday and consumed 2 bars so far... The taste is great, I don't know if it really works tho. Heard there are pros and cons to this bars too. Ever tried this protein bar? Let's talk about it. :)

they taste good and they don't give me gas. They are still not very economical unless you pick up bars about to go out of date for $1 each on a lucky trip to GNC.

I use to eat them alot. Then i decided to stop because they eat up my caloric intake that id rather spend on real food. Plus they are expensive. Kind of overated imo.

protein bars in general are an overrated food. IMO Quest are the least overrated of the protein bars...

Thirded. If you enjoy the taste and they fit your goals, then I suppose they "work." What are you expecting them to do that other foods/combinations of foods that provide the same nutrition wouldn't do?

    Edited for grammar.

Quest bars aren't magic...not sure what you mean by "if it really works"...it's just a protein bar...generally people consume them to supplement their protein intake...they don't get any more magical than that.

I love them. Eat one every day and they really push up my protein and fill me up. Plus they taste amazing! Just wish they weren't c. £2 a bar... but then 10 is the same price I used to pay for a large Dominos... so...

I wouldn't call 20ish grams of carb "low carb"...

OP... What are you wanting them to do? How are they supposed to" work"?

If you count net carbs (minus fiber) they're only about 3g net.

Like the others not sure what OP expects of them.

i like them but sometimes they upset my stomach. they definitely don't have the most natural taste. favorite flavor is cookie dough.

I make my own and they taste even better.

They only have 3 ingredients (minus the preservatives).

I could marry a chocolate chip cookie dough Quest bar. Do they work? For what? They make me happy, give me protein, and I can eat them while I wait for the train in the morning.
