I did the "peanut butter sandwiched between two pop tarts" thing for breakfast.

Then oats with peanut butter, whey and agave for snack.

Lunch was ???? but often two chick-fil-a sandwiches; about 1,000 calories and 40 or 50 grams of protein.

    Afternoon snack was a PB&J.

Dinner was a regular-person dinner, but probably with a glass of milk.

Dessert would be whatever combination of whey, cottage cheese and peanut butter I needed to hit my macros and calories.

    TL;DR Peanut Butter

I am most successful at hitting my 3300 calorie goal when I start with a big (and fast) breakfast. It helps make sure I'm not "catching up" all day.

    -1 cup milk
-1 packet "carnation breakfast essentials" for flavor/nutrients
    -1 large banana
-1 peanut butter (ranges from 1/4 to 1/3 cup).

^blend together and starts my day off with 750-850 calories. May be difficult to drink this much on some days but gets easier.

I save my whey shakes for after workout. They're expensive so I was trying to find a way to make my own shake with groceries I had. There you go.

Disclaimer: Lots of PB does spike your fat macros early in the day, if you care about that sort of thing.

Is this really even an issue? "Clean" food or "dirty" food it is not difficult to eat 3000 calories. I have to plan my day, every day, in order to ensure I stay below 3000; especially when I'm lifting heavy. You're a big dude that is (presumably) lifting heavy and often. 3000 should go down like nothing.

I could be 50lbs heavier in 6 months the reason I'm not is I quit eating 20-24 ounce Ribeyes, potatoes, and Ranch every night and I'm down 50lbs this past year. I managed a steak house it was free..

Aiming for 4000 cals a day here, I've been doing this for the last couple of weeks, it's sometimes been a struggle to physically eat the food! Thankfully things seem to be getting easier as my body gets used to the increased intake. Never really noticed any changes but this app has really helped me keep on top of what I'm eating and I'm already stacking the weight on! Next to get ripped!!

The Smucker's Natural peanut butter is 210 calories per serving (32g). The first time I got it, I spilled it all over the place because it comes with the water on top that you have to mix together. It's mighty tasty.

haha yeah that is actually why I get the Jif Natural

they have an emulsifier or whatever that keeps the oil from separating (mostly, it still separates a tiny bit)

No clue why, but I'm picturing this as a huge peanut butter fail (infomercial style). I'm now super entertained this morning.

I can't believe eating over 3000 calories in a day is hard for people. I can do it - easily - in one sitting.

Well lucky you. I hardly ever go over 2300 a day, and if I do I'm pretty much in pain all evening.

On Sundays I cook my proteins that will last me until lunch on Friday: 6 pounds of chicken, 1.5 pounds of steak, one pound of pork chops. Because I prefer my fish cooked fresh I cook that the night I am ready to eat it. I mix in plenty of fresh fruits and veggies to fill in the carbs, almonds and peanut butter to get some fats in, and one or two protein shakes if I'm not hitting my target for protein for the day.

It wasn't meant to make people feel bad. It was just a fat guy's observation.
