I'm looking on Amazon and considering a few of their "Best Selling" but lost as to which one I should get.
I'm looking at getting this one:
amazon.com/Ozeri-Digital-Multifunction-Kitchen-Elegant/dp/B004164SRA/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1434566261&sr=1-1&keywords=Food+scale
Can anyone recommend a food scale?

I have the WW digital scale and love it...you can do grams, ounces etc. Has auto shut off, I have had it for 3 years and use it religiously, just changed the batteries for the first time yesterday.

Pay attention to the weight capacity. I purchased one that goes to 11 lbs because I occasionally measure whole hams and such.0

I recently got this one, when I thought my old and cheaper one had died:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NE0FU2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
and I love it! It is awesome
My cheaper one was this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002IR6OP8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
Which was pretty good but no where near as good as my new one (but is cheaper)0 -
I think this is the one we have: EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale, Silver. We use it to measure in grams, pounds, and ounces, and often use the tare button to get rid of the existing weight to see how much we're adding (how many grams of BBQ sauce did you just put on your full plate?). Not sure if there's any reason the BF bought this one instead of the others, but it's seemed to hold up pretty well so far and is big enough to do the job, yet small enough to stay out of the way.0

This is the one I have, and it takes a beating and still works great

I have two of the one you are looking to get, one at work and one for home. Does what you need it to do. I've had mine for two months now and its still working well. Would highly recommend, especially for the price.0

I see a Camry make and a Taylor make that combine measuring cup and scale. Anyone have any experience or view of these?0

I have the cheapie Ozeri and I've used it for 6 months on the same battery. My biggest complaint about it is that it shuts off after two minutes, kind of annoying when you're cutting up vegetables and putting them in the dish one by one. But that's pretty minor--if I dropped my scale on the floor, I'd consider buying the same one again.0

I was looking at the cheaper one, did you have a problem with the battery life? I read a few reviews and a few people had a problem with that.0 -

Looks like the EatSmart scale is winning! Thank you so much for you input! I'll be looking into this scale Any complaints so far?0 -

That's good to know! Any complaints so far? This has pretty good reviews on Amazon, I might just get this one instead of the one I was thinking of

No problem with the battery life! I think I wiped it down too aggressively and the numbers weren't showing on the screen anymore. Came back to life the next day (prob after it dried out LOL). my biggest complaint, that i think others have said, is that it turns off rather quickly. but it def does the job...i am thinking about bringing it to work in case i ever want to weigh anything during the work day. the scale in the cafeteria is lacking

I have one of Eat Smart's bathroom scales. It's very well made and the company has a great rep on Amazon for standing behind their products. I'm sure the kitchen scales are very good, too. If my old Taylor ever does die, I'll probably replace with an Eat Smart.DeniseB0711 wrote: »I serioulsy have a scale i bought at Wal mart, my one HUGE complaint is the button to switch weight units is on the bottom of the scale. I bought one of those Wal-mart scales last year after I moved, nice styling but that tiny Unit button on the bottom made it a major pain to use. And the setting defaults to Lb/Oz, so you always have to pick it up. Stay away from any scales Wal-mart sells under their Mainstays label, they all have the same electronics package.

That's good to know! I was debating on getting one from there. They also sell the weight watchers brand. Anyone had luck with that?0
