You look beautiful make or not. But I get what you love about it…I wear it everyday too.
Thanks girl I'm sure you do too!

I actually look younger without make up I've noticed. I'm 50/50 sometimes I wear it, sometimes I don't. Depends on my mood.0

I only do eyeshadow on my days off loL0 -
False Advertising. lol0

I'm first to admit that make up is beautiful and makes a big difference! However "Less is More" A little cover up and accent is lovely, but we can go too far and end up looking like a Drag Queen if we apply too much! My daily make up routine starts with a light moisturizer, a thick coat of sunscreen that I let dry, then if needed on that particular day, a light foundation, curl my lashes, a coat of mascara and finally my lip liner and lipstick. That's it! For special events I'll add a light eyeliner on top edges and a couple more coats of mascara and as far as blush goes...I never touch the stuff! My daily makeup takes around ten minutes!0

it would be false advertising if people who wore make-up were consumable products. good thing we aren't. anyways i'm in a very committed relationship with my eyeliner.0

i have no problem putting it on, i just always dread taking it off - inevitably, some will get in my eye and sting for a while.
9 days out of 10, i won't bother.0 -
My opinion is that if makeup changes SO MUCH how someone looks naturally, then it's no different than wearing a mask. Consequently my past girlfriends all wore pretty light make up.

The girl in the OP is a perfect example of that. She looks fine either way, but she also looks like two completely different people!
The other girl that posted ber before and after is what it should be about, imo. Enhancing her looks rather than changing them entirely. ETA: on a daily basis that is. Sometimes it's fun to frost the whole cake and go out.
Personally, I think I look better with it, but younger (and possibly more tired) without it.0 -
no amount of make up will hide a double chin0

IMO, makeup is a great thing to wear (for women, or men when on TV). The key is to be subtle with it though and to know where and how much to apply. It should make your good features stand out and to help hide your not-go-good features.
I woman who knows how to apply makeup right scores high in my books.
Also, for special occasions, being able to go wild (without looking scary) is also a strong skill in my books.
It's not about hiding who you are, but making yourself stand out more. Aside from eyeliner and colour, makeup should appear invisible, unless you're intentionally trying to make it look like you're showing off.0 -
Girls don't care if YOU don't like heavy makeup. We wear it for ourselves not for guys!0

That's true but men have to remember to love someone for who they are too with or without makeup

I never took the time to learn how to apply all that foundation and stuff... I do my eyes and have an obsession with lip gloss that's enough for me.
Not to mention that make-up is expensive, especially if you replace it like they say you should in order to avoid bacteria. ( I have sensitive skin so rather than breaking out I'll go without...)0 -
I feel really clowny when I do both eyes and lips. It looks great on many people but I feel really over done if I wear both.0

I feel the same way0

Coming from somebody with uneven skin tone and acne prone skin I love this article. When I was younger I struggled with confidence before I found the power of makeup. The right kind of foundation can transform a face. Everyone has there own preferences. You just got to find what works for you.
I like doing bold eyes, flawless face, and a nice lip on most days. On my lazy ones I just do foundation and mascara. At most, it only takes me 15 minutes to do my hair and makeup, but I also been doing it for a long time lol0 -
