Does anyone subtract fiber from carb goal to get net carbs.

I get close or go over carbs, but I eat high fiber. Is okay to subtract the fiber from goal carbs to get actual carbs?

I do. I subtract the amount of insoluble fiber I ingested from my gross carb amount to get my net carb amount.

In America perhaps. Elsewhere, probably not. Depends on the source of the data item you're using whether it's even a valid concept.

When I was going to a nutritionist, she told me to subtract.

if you look in the database there should be a "net carb adjustment" it works on the web but not the app. I use it when I am too lazy to do the math in my head
