A little taller, at 5'4" and 197 lbs....
I've been eating about 1400-1500 cals per day.
Went from 260 lbs to 197 in about 4 months 1 week.
No exercise, although I really should....but I just try and stay moving/active.

5'0" 45 years old. 1200 net calories.. I am not 100% with my logging of foods but I also try and underestimate my exercise calories... 1200 sucks but when you are short that is how it goes.. I lose slowly but steadily.

I'm 5'2", age 51, currently 199 lbs, (have lost 31 lbs so far) eating 1200-1350 cals per day. Every day I walk an hour and stationary bike 30 mins. Been losing approx 2-3 lbs each week.

I'm 5'.0, age 37, and currently around 117 lbs. I seem to be losing around 1800-1900 cals/day. I've had a few days where I go over 2000. I exercise 6 days per week - running at least 3 miles at high intensity, well high for me - 8 minute miles.

I started out around 122 lbs and peaked just above 123.

The other day, after my run I weighed 114.8 - which I know was just water weight, but I just couldn't believe it... it makes me hopeful that I'll see that number soon if I keep up what I'm doing!

5'1.5" and 56 years old. I tend to eat 1200 or less. For a while I was eating more, 1200 + exercise, but not losing.

    5"3, weigh 137, down from 155, 13 days ago.

    Food Intake:
I eat one meal daily, appx 700 calories, 90% fat to carb ratio.
1 cup strong black coffee upon waking.
Absolutely no Sugar. No artificial Sweeteners.
My only fruits are Avocado, Red Pepper, Tomato and Cucumber. (Yes these are all technically botanical fruits.)

    Probiotics:
I drink 1 gallon (18 cups) of water daily infused with 1/4 cup homemade Kombucha
I eat 1/4 to 1//2 cup of whipped cream kefir daily

    Suppliments: Essential Fatty Acids
    2gr EPA 1gr DHA, 1.3 gr ALA, 250mg GLA
this from oils: Anchovy, Sardine, Mackerel, Evening Primrose, Organic Flaxseed

    Intermittent Fasting:
I intermittent fast anywhere from 18 - 24 hours every single day.
18 hours is my goal but I don't eat until I'm actually hungry which is around 24 hours.

    Exercise
I do 20 minutes of brisk walking on an empty stomach everyday and am slowing starting to add in some resistance training.

Summary: This is not a long term diet. It is to get me down to my goal 115 lbs as quickly as possible. At that point I will consume between 1000-1200 calories daily. I will continue to take supplements, eat probiotics (but with raw sauerkraut added back in) and intermittent fast everyday. I don't like exercise so this is my main obstacle. I'm doing it now for the rapid weight loss but worry I wont be able to stick with it long term.

5'2, SW 204, CW 188 Still have 60 lbs to go. I'm eating 1400calories to lose 1 lb per week (down from about 1450). I am starting to exercise about 4 x a week cardio for 30 minutes. Started mid-April and have lost 16 lbs in two months eating back exercise calories in part. Occasionally all back if I'm splurging..

5'2 and still have a lot of weight to lose. My goal is 1200 calories a day. I don't log my exercise, I just note it in my diary. I've had some days I've gone over like anyone else but I have steadily lost weight, about 30 pounds in 3 months.

I'm 5'0, 41yo, started at 146 and lost 3 lbs in 3 weeks. I've had about 3 cheating days since then. I workout 3-4x a week. Spinning and strength. I don't feel much of a difference though. Maybe I'm too impatient. I do occasionally have a drink or two. Trying to stay away from alcohol, but it's summer and it's very hard.

Do you take any supplements? Are you super strict with diet? 10 lbs a month... That's amazing!!

I'm 5'1 and my last weigh-in I was 261.2lbs. I'd like to be 110-120 but my main focus is health. Counting calories is very new to me and I can't quite remember what MFP has me at. I'm also new to the gym. Commenting for hopeful encouragement, support, and tips from my fellow shorties. :)

Congratulations on your success so far. I am 51, currently 208lbs. 93lbs to my goal weight. My program is similar to yours, however I just started yesterday. I also have a torn medial meniscus, so I'm finding it hard to find motivation to exercise. Any suggestions? I'm all ears. :)

5'2, 116 @ 1400 cals/day (technically more like 1500 but adjusted down to help account for logging errors)
I do a full body dumbbell workout 3 days a week. Some cardio.
Not really even trying to lose but have lost 2 lbs since New Years.

Had to update, since I realize it was March when I first posted here. I'm steadily losing 1lb a month because now I weight 113. The only thing I've changed is switching from a full body dumbbell routine to a split routine.

I'm 5'2, 116 pounds and I maintain on 2000-2200 but I can lose around 1kg a week on 1200 cals, (but I do cheat weekends so it's a much slower pace)

5ft 3 1/2in. Recently lost 30lbs on my journey. Have done this before and have decided that it has to be a total lifestyle change. Will be 58 soon and want to be at my goal of 60lbs lost by then. Have cals set at 1000, doing treadmill 3x week with some strength training and walking on gym off days. Usually eat back part of cals given for excerise. Trying to eat healthier and glad I found this app to help me trsck and see what I'm doing on a daily basis.
