I'd stick it out another week at least before modifying too much. If you're new to your current regimine it takes time for the body to adjust. It will lose and gain a lot of water weight on a daily basis for first few weeks as your body figures out what it's actually meant to do with glycogen stores -- which hold/release water as its gained/depleted. If you feel you need a "nutrition" kick, keep you calories the same but drop carbs by 100 cal or so. See what that does to your macro proportions0

Are you using a food scale to weigh everything you eat? Are you eating back your exercise calories?0

Thank you all I will definitely give it another week and invest in some food scales. I've already made a date with the GP. I'll let you know what this week brings0

Look on the bright side-you know how to maintain!
Seriously though, I think you'll see a world of difference when you start weighing all your food on a digital food scale.0 -
My food scale is my best friend. Even when I get drinks like milk or anything i'm weighing it. My family thinks i'm crazy, but when i'm in the best shape of everyone in the house they won't think i'm so crazy will they Good Luck. And believe me 15 days is nothing for a plateau.0

Hi, everyone From my experience, I think plateaus are normal. I am have lost 40 lbs and have 10lbs to lose. I stick to 1200 calories a day using the daily dairy on this site. For myself I weigh myself daily to keep a handle on things. I usually drop 1 to 2 lbs a week. Sometimes I will hit a plateau. If you are still on track and hit a plateau, just stay calm and don't get discouraged. Keep to your diet and your exercise routine and drink a lot of water. Eventually you get off the plateau. When I get off a plateau which sometimes could last up to 2 weeks, I 'll see maybe a 3 to 4lb loss. Just don't keep up! Of course if you are eating alittle more than it is not a plateau. But if you are on track, plateaus can be annoying but normal.0

Plateaus are a minimum of 4-6 weeks with no changes in weight/measurements. So what you've experienced, and the OP, is just a stall that happens regularly to people (especially women). It might be due to the fact they weren't logging accurately; it might not. But tightening up their diary is a good first step to make sure.0 -
The scales omg. When I weighed the granola cereal I was eating 600 calories for breakfast no wonder I'm not losing out I'm still overeating. On the plus I've not put weight on here we go0

I'm glad that you've found out what's wrong! It's always refreshing to see someone who actually takes advice into account and fixes what's wrong instead of denying that there's a problem with their logging.
Good luck!0 -

Yep, the serving size for granola (and all cereals, really) is insanely small once you weigh it out. You'll see plenty of other surprises too--some for the good!0 -

I love it when people have that lightbulb moment. Keep at it for a few weeks and it becomes very easy to do quickly. Good luck!0 -
