workout plan help

Hey I am wondering if there are any good websites that can create a personal workout plan. I know this seems simple but it is something I struggle with. I can't say I'm a beginner at the gym but I mainly focus on cardio. I want to get into more lifting and strengthening. I tried checking out a personal trainer at my gym and the options they have I simply can't afford. Any recommendations?

    If you want to get into lifting more, a lot of people will recommend;
    • New rules of lifting for women
    • 5x5 stronglifts
    • ICF 5x5
    • Strong curves

    These are all pretty popular lifting programs on MFP.

    Cosign.

    I highly recommend reading New rules of lifting yet follow Stronglifts. SL is a much simpler program and less fussy than NROLFW. The info in NROLFW is great but I don't like how complicated the program is. Strong curves is a great book as well, I own it but haven't run the program. I reference it all the time

    Go to Bodybuilding.com. They have lots of plans for women. They also have a great app called Bodyspace. I am following a 12-week program called "Jamie Eason's Livefit Trainer."

    If you're looking to gain mass as a beginner, then don't overlook the oft-forgotten All Pro's SBR:

    +1 for Stronglifts! Also, if you want to get into running and are a beginner, I recommend c25k. There are about a zillion different versions available as free apps on your phone. I've been doing both programs concurrently, and I like both.

    I've got both the NROLW and Strong Curves books and I've done some of each. I really like the Strong Curves book for the pictures of the exercises. For a new person they do a pretty good job of showing how the exercises are done.
