losing muscle

Hey guys, how long does it take to LOSE muscle ? Reason why i ask it because i didnt eat for like 20 hours and just eat 2 sandwiches between so i didnt hit my MINIMUM MACRO even ! But the next day i got to eat cheat meal and hit my macro ( whole day of cheat meal) do i lost muscle or was it fat ?

You can't lose muscle mass quickly, barring trauma or other massive medical issues.

Next weekend, have a DEXA before and after your 2 sandwich 20 hour "fast" for the answer.0 -
You do not have to worry about losing any serious muscle until about 72 hours without eating. Through the eyes of your body, that is "starvation mode."
I fast every day for 14-16 hours. I have never been stronger.
In simple terms,
If your body taps into all of its glycogen stores, fat stores, and remaining amino acids in the blood, only then will it begin break down muscle for energy.
Which will begin after 72 hours as I mentioned above.

ummm the first study you listed is blank? the second study isabout protein.
It is going to take a lot longer than 72 hours to go into starvation mode.
