On way to walmart what hr monitor shld i get

    Nothing from wal-mart (LOL) but seriously, you have to look at what kind of activities your going to do, and what you expect from it, and how much you want to spend on it.

    Now this is only my opinion, but for treadmills something with a chest strap is better. Now you can get a polar H7 sensor that will connect to polar beat app on your phone and sync to most cardio equipment to give hr and control level/incline, but if you want something to wear all day. There's the loop (comparable to fitbit) , a300 and m400, and v800. At heart rate monitor you can compare the different products. Polar you can compare their products. Most only use these products to monitor heart rate during training. Also the prices are Polar prices, you can find them for less at HRM.com or Amazon.

    No Walmart. I got a Garmin 110 that came with a chest strap. Best deal ever.

    Save your money. They aren't designed for that.
