Just had this one this morning. You get your protein, fruits and veggies and maybe even some Omegas
. So good!
Almond Butter Spinach Smoothie
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 cup fresh spinach
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 ripe banana
1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
Optional: 1 teaspoon chia seeds or 1 teaspoon flax seeds or OATMEAL0 -
5 tbsp low fat plain yoghurt
0.5 banana
5 strawberries
Mint leaves or lil juiced mint (optional)
Pinch cinnamon
Pinch blueberries
Lil water (2tbsp)
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp boiled or precooked oats (optional)
Blend. Drink. Yum!!0 -
I have a thing for peanut butter and dark chocolate,, i have issues with eating fruits and vegetables,, so smoothies are the best way for me to get it down.. in my smoothies:
1 scoop of protein powder
1/2 of banana frozen
2 tablespoons of any nutbutte
1 tsp of ground flax seed
1 to 1/2 cup of coconut water or unsweetened almond or coconut milk0 -
In the morning I will usually have banana strawberry raspberries oats and chia seeds and blend it all with a few ice cubes in it. So yummy!0

Try looking at simplegreensmoothies.com for more recipes - they give info on adding various ingredients (many that have been listed here) to make you feel full longer, too.0

My favorite is mango and pineapple with spinach and almond milk and protein powder! It may not sound that good but it's amazing! I don't have exact measurements but you can experiment.
Also if you want something sour and like candy I would recommend an entire lemon with around 1 1/2 cups of strawberries with ice0
