Ive always led a very active lifestyle-soccer, track, swimming ect. I could kill 6 bowls of cereal and the scale wouldn't change. Weight was something I never thought I'd have to worry about. Ever. But, as nature would have it, my body slowly changed as I stepped into college; my lifestyle choices changed dramatically. Fast food, less exercise, more stress. It's like that saying-if you throw a frog in boiling water, it will jump right out. But if you put it in lukewarm water & slowly heat it up, it will boil to death. I was boiling in my unhealthy lifestyle. Now, 7 years post high school, I find myself in a hole. A low energy, low self esteem, excuse making, hole. Why now? I'll be in a best friends wedding this September, & I cannot spend another special occassion completely uncomfortable in a dress. I want my energy back, I want my feerlessness back. Time to jump out of the pot.
