I have been slowly gaining weight and getting frustrated. My doctor prescribed Belviq on Friday June 6th. I started at 236 and today I hit 229. Seven pounds in five days. I think it might be working.

WOOHOO! My doctor told me about Belviq and am doing research on it. Have you had any side effects to it?

That's great! I'm glad it is helping you to stick to a better eating plan. My doctor was taking it and offered it to me, but I declined. I later wished I'd taken him up on it.

I just started taking Belviq 2 days ago already down 1.8 lbs. I don't have the cravings to just eat all the time. I was afraid after listening to all of the warnings. So far so good for me no complaints.

I am considering asking my doc about Belviq, but I have reservations. Does it affect mood/anxiety?

I was wondering the same thing?

My doctor gave me two prescriptions for it. One for the free 15 day supply ( you download the coupon from the belviq website and bring it to the pharmacy) And a script for a 30 day supply.

KMhouston17- hows it going with belviq? Any side effects so far?

I started 10 days ago have gained one pound but I made the mistake of weighing myself on my cycle. Started a week after starting belviq. Not quitting yet will finish off the 15 day supply if I lose even 1 pound I will go ahead and take it month by month. My goal is 30 pounds. Dr recommends I lose 60 but I'm afraid of long term pills. I will use it to give me jump starts then I'm done with it. It's my lifetime battle with weight
