A little support and motivation please

So I'm 5'3, 21 years old and weigh 179.9 lbs. I have a lot of muscle so I don't necessarily look very overweight. However, my stomach isn't completely flat, I have some cellulite and I start to see more stretch marks appearing.
My boyfriend genuinely LOVES the way I look. But I want to lose some weight and get back to how I looked before I had surgery last year. Now I have a hard time staying motivated because I know he likes me like this anyway.
(He would like me no matter what, were very serious and he says he's attracted to me for me. I just really still want him to be attracted to me and also I need to stay motivated)

hi
You shouldn't care what your boyfriend thinks. That's your body and your life and you are like 20 lbs overweight so that's not healthy. I ve been struggling to lose weight forever , once you realise that you actually do it for yourself , dieting will be much easier.0 -
Totally agree with the do it for yourself reasoning.
Have you tried talking to him about it? Try explaining to him that you feel uncomfortable with how your body looks and would really appreciate his support in your journey.0 -

Yes, I've tried talking to him about it and he totally understands. It's just I always have the fact that I know he likes me how I am now to fall back on as an excuse to not take it 100% seriously which really sucks. I almost wish he had told me I'm fat because at least that would motivate me0
