How often do YOU weigh yourself?

In the past, I've weighed myself every day. I found that sometimes the daily scale routine was very depressing. But it's also like an addiction, ya know? You just CAN'T help but step on that scale every day.
I'm thinking that I'll weigh myself on the first & fifteenth of every month.
But maybe I should weigh once a week?
I dunno!
How often do you guys weigh yourself?

I do it once a week on Monday after I wake up.0

Every Thursday morning at the gym.. It's my day off and I get up to the gym early, so it works. I don't even have a good scale at home!!!0

I weigh once a week same day same time!!!0

Daily.... as a science nerd, I like to monitor as much as possible... the more data points, the better....0

Every Saturday morning before I eat breakfast.0

I weight myself two or three times a day. Rather then find the increases depressing, I find it amazing how much the body fluctuates and the different things that contribute to it fluctuating. When I lift weights, my body gains like 5 lbs. Not sure why but I assume it is fluid in the muscle. However when I run, my weight drops by up to 10lbs. I assume from sweating.0

Mondays and fridays First thing in the morning after I wake up before I eat in my Birthday suit.0

Daily, but I only 'weigh in' once a week, same day after I get up, and I don't let the day-to-day fluctuations get me down.. no point in that...I do daily more to monitor that I'm staying within a good weekly range...0

I weigh myself once a week, Sunday mornings.0

I stepp on the scale multiple times a day unless it starts to get to me then I put it away for a while. I only officially weigh-in once a week (on Fridays).0

I weigh myself on Monday too, after I wake up. I chose that day deliberately. If I know I have to weigh myself on Monday morning, it keeps me from having weekend binges.0

I only weigh once a month on the first & hide it under my bed so I'm not tempted.0

Every morning before I get in the shower. It is a bit of an addiction, and I know fluctuations are normal, but I find it helps keep me accountable. If I see the scale start to creep back up, I know I need to work harder that day.0

I weigh once a week same day same time!!!
that's me too! because weight shifts so much up and down so if I did it everyday some days would be great and some days would be hard so one day a week is the "average" haha at least in my mind!0 -
I use to weigh myself every month, but then I changed it to every week on the same day. That didn't work, because I just wait till the last 2-3 days to work out and eat better. So I weight every day now, but I have a official weigh in on every 10th of each month.0

I weigh most days. But I don't stress about it. I've lost 2 dress sizes and I can tell the difference in the mirror. That matters more than the scale to me.0

I weigh in every Tuesday morning when I get up. I get up, go pee, and then weigh myself lol.0

If I'm having a good loss week, than 3+ days, otherwise on Tuesdays and Saturdays (always in the morning).0

Mondays at noon on the digital scale in the building locker room are official "weigh-in" day. I also weigh myself on the old-timey scale at the gym sometimes throughout the week. I like it because it consistenty reports a lower weight than the digital. ;-)0

I weigh every morning.0

Twice a day. At night before I go to bed and first thing in the morning. it is frustrating at times but it also motivates me when I see a spurt...one way or another.0

I agree with the statement of 'daily weighing = depressing'. I would suggest weekly or bi-monthly as you stated. In my opinion, bodyweight changes far too much in a 24hour period to be an accurate measure of net loss or gain. Remember, from focus comes growth (or loss in your case ; weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint.0

I weigh everyday. I have found that a gain the next day accurately reflects a day of poor food choices the day before. I don't get upset about what the scale says everyday though... I just use it as a learning tool of what my body does and doesn't like.
Every Sunday I weigh and compare it to the Sunday before.... That is when I get happy or sad. LOL0 -
Since it's more reliable to weigh before I eat or drink anything, I do it in the mornings when I have time and remember. Sometimes it's everyday (like now b/c I'm seeing how well the MFP maintenance calories actually work for me), sometimes I'm just too busy and I'd rather make a healthy breakfast or squeeze in a bit of a workout in the morning than remember to hop on the scale. I know it doesn't take long, but I will also have the urge to do all my measurements if the scale is being a prick.
Anyway, I think you know yourself best. If you feel you need specific days for weighing in, try it and see how you feel about it. There's no rule. It's just what works to keep you informed and your morale up. For example, my rule for logging my weight is only when it goes down; if it goes up for no more than 2 lbs, I don't care it's just fluctuations (sodium, water, not enough sleep). More than that I log and start to worry.0 -
Over the past few days it feels like I'm getting weighed every 2 minutes. If I'm focused it's normally daily, first thing in the morning before food or anything.0

Exactly what I do.0 -
Every morning. For better or worse. It helps me calibrate intake of calories and weight. I am approaching goal weight. I want to keep it off, and I feel that if I know how much I eat (calorie wise) and how it affects my weight, I will do better at the end of my weight loss and graduate into weight maintenance. I am usually within 5 to 10% of my caloric goal everyday, and I am exercising some and losing weight.
I don't see the scale thing as depressing, but a challenge. You know that you will reach your goal weight, no matter what. It is a long term thing, not just a momentary whim. The scale is a tool, use it as often as you want.0 -
I weigh myself every morning, after I use the bathroom, before I eat or shower. My official weigh-ins are every Saturday. But I'm thinking of changing that to once a month, too discouraging sometimes!0

I do the same. It's helping me to keep on track!0 -
I weigh myself almost every morning, I find that it keeps me in check food wise. I write it down on Tuesdays & Fridays and once I know for sure that I have infact lost at least 1 full pound, I update my profile here on MFP. I also take measurements every 3 weeks. I noticed that I plateaued for awhile with the muscle that I gained from the strength training. Now I just need to give up sweets, I am sooooo glad summer is coming cause I am going to eat a lot of watermelon! Bye bye cookies!0
