Cravings..

Am I the only one who suffers with this? After I eat, I have a sensation of being "full" but only a short time later, I just have these weird cravings. I feel a mental urge to eat again, but I don't have the physical cues. Anyone else deal with this? I have been working out 5x a week for the last 3+ months and I have already lost 30 lbs. I drink plenty of water, and I am eating lots of protein. Any suggestions?

    What's your calorie goal like? Too restrictive? If not, you can shave off 100 calories or more from snacks/meal to make room to eat a little something after. I generally don't like to have ONE thing for lunch. I like a few things I spread out across my lunch hour. I'm never done after dinner. Even in a deficit, I have 200 and sometimes 400 calories to eat after dinner. Mess around with your calories. Pre-log.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I went from around 1200 to about 1400. When I was eating 1200, I was also following a plan which did not allow me to be choosy with what I was eating. I rarely felt hungry. Now, I am picking what I want to eat while keeping the basic foods the same. My exercise routine has changed (it's more demanding), but really, that is all that is different.

    Oh...You should. MFP uses the NEAT method, which does not count exercise in your daily activity. You can add it, but only eat about 50% back as the app overestimates the calories burn. If you're logging correctly, you will lose at the same rate but get to eat more :)
