Step up the chores, use cans of food and or bottles of detergeant as weights.. give yourself extra trips. Instead of carrying one load of laundry to be put away at a time make several small trips... Keep moving...GOOD LUCK

Buy a soft medicine ball and some bands. I know it is spending money on those items but it is worth it as you won't have to spend it again. There are zillions of workouts to do with these items and I get all mine from shape magazine or weight watchers. As a female this has worked best for me and running outdoors.

Jumping jacks, jump rope, glut kicks, taking a walk/jog/run around the neighborhood, sets of doing push ups, squats, lunges. Body weight is actually a great way to stregnth train. If you have the desire/motivation/and mindset to workout at home, it can be done!

Squats, lunges, push ups, jumping jacks, running on the spot, crunches.... you can work out ever part of your body without equipment. A towel can be used for resistance.

Sparks people has videos that you can follow. Also, head over to your local library and get a few workout dvd's. Also, about.com will send you fitness newsletters with daily workouts.

Lots to chose from. It depends on what you were doing at the gym... was it cardio, weighs.... treadmill, bike??????
There are lots of videos out there for cardio.... Leslie Sansone has some great walking workouts. Jillian michaels has some great circuit training videos. Walking or jogging outside. Research online.

    I don't use a gym. I have a treadmill and alternate with video's

I wasn't sure how much I could do since I haven't done push ups since high school, but I began this past Sunday doing sets of 10 pushups throughout the day to total 50 (so I fit 5 sets in at some point during the day) and 2 sets of 25 situps. I'm sore and I don't know how much it's really going to help, but it makes me feel like I'm at least doing SOMETHING and the soreness tells me some muscles are being worked. I felt like an idiot doing so few, but it's not like I can expect to jump into it overnight. The pushups are about the weakest, most pathetic ones you'll ever see, but I plan to perfect my form and then add more as my body lets me. Baby steps :)
