Fitbit Charge HR and MFP

Does anyone use a fitbit charge HR? Fitbit tells me I burn 2100 calories on days that I run but MFP only adjusts like 80 calories... Even when I run 4 miles... Anyone else having this problem? Am I doing something wrong-- or am I really only burning that much?

Your adjustment (80 calories) is the difference between your Fitbit burn (2,100) and your MFP activity level. Click on the adjustment to see the math MFP used to calculate it.
Set your goal to .5 lb. for every 25 lbs. you're overweight, and enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings.

My activity level is set to active and my calorie intake is 1200 ( which I think is the lowest I can go). It seems odd that I would get only 80 extra calories to eat when I ran 4 miles (at a 10min mile). Overall I had 13,500 steps for the day. My fitbit is telling me I burned 2100 - and if I'm at a 500 calorie deficit (which is normal to lose weight). I should have a about 300 calories added back to my budget no? If I screwed up the settings for that ... Should I set my activity level to something else? The fitbit app tells me I was 506 under budget. I'm only trying to lose about 13 lbs.0

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments.0 -
I think it could be the level as active is the reason for the low adjustment. I have mine at sedentary and like yesterday for example, I did a 4 mile walking video and mowed the grass and ended up with a 700ish calorie adjustment. I also have my calories at 1200. Me being larger of course raises the calories I burn...but I think maybe your issue is your estimates are already high because of the "active" status. Good luck tho0

You see I was going to say this too. I have a very active life. I average around 1600+ steps a day however I have my activity level set as sedentary. That means if I do something like running I get a nice big adjustment. If I had it set at active I'd either get nothing or a very tiny one. So for me I prefer knowing that I can eat that much more compared to if I was sedentary.0
