Logging LES MILLS BODYPUMP?

Hey everyone!

I was just wondering how people log the Les Mills BODYPUMP class? I've been putting it in as either aerobics or circuit training depending on how much effort I think it was. I feel like it's not as cardio-focused as these though as you're not running around, but then you are using the weights constantly. I'm definitely dying by the end of it, anyway!

Any tips would be great, thanks

I'd probably log it as circuit training...

Search for Bodypump in exercise and it's in there.

Do keep in mind that MFP overestimates the calories from exercise.

They sure do overestimate the calories burned! Watch out!

Yup, I always think it logs way more than I actually think I've done - normally I take the time down to 3/4 or 1/2 or the time I've actually done (so log half an hour for an hour's class) and even then I try not to eat back more than half of the exercise calories. Thanks for the help and tips guys!

I didn't know it was in there under exercise BUT I use my garmin and heartrate to track my calories and for body pump I am only burning b/n 250-290 cal per session and I lift pretty heavy. (squats i use 59 lbs, for chest I use 48, etc.)
Without a heartrate monitor your calorie estimates will probably always be exaggerated. Be careful fellow pumpers!
