My BMR IS 1450 and my TDEE is around 2000. How many calories should I consume to lose a pound?

If you have a 500 calorie deficit for 7 days consistently, you can lose 1 pound. (1 pound = 3500 calories)0

More like 1500, if your TDEE is 2000.0

No. You subtract from your TDEE.
Ignore BMR. It's not really relevant for weight loss.

Thank you0 -
1500 for a male is considered minimum.
You could also do 1750 for 2 wks.
Water weight loss would show more quickly.0 -

How did you come up with 2000 as your TDEE?
I'm a 5' tall gal and I maintain with 1700-1900 calories depending on how active I am. I'm wondering if you could/should be eating more...

I used the online TDEE thing... I'm 5'6 155 lbs and lightly active0 -
TDEE is related to your weight/height/age/activity level, or BFP if you know it.
