And by that I mean, how do you separate the days? Do you go by what you had/did after midnight being the next day? Or do you count waking up - going to sleep as one long day? I used to count by midnight and then I realised that I would be better of counting by waking up and going to sleep. So, what do you guys do?

  • I go by when I wake up. I feel it is just easier plus sleep is kind of my restart since I am not eating.

I count 24 hours as one day. That is, my day begins at 7am and ends at 7am the next day. I work from 7pm to 7am and eat a meal and snacks on those days that I work, but on my off days I eat typical times. To keep me structured, i just keep it the same everyday. Exercise too.

I do it like wake up until sleep. Usually i'm done eating by midnight, but even if I'm not, I still log it for the previous day. The only downside there is when you close the diary after midnight, it doesn't autopost the **** has complete their diary message. But doing it either way seems fine. Whatever is most comfortable.

No wrong way...do what works best for your personal situation. I try to pre-log my meals so I can pre-plan my exercise and about the only thing I tweak is dinner as it is post workout and I may eat a little more or a little less depending on the burn I got. I am basically a 6am to after 9pm kinda guy. My meals are broken down into 6 three hour blocks with the last block being "After 9pm".

THAT is what works for me...

Good luck to you...play with it, girl!
