Hi There, this is day 2 of me starting to climb this mountain called Everest Weight. I am still circling the only tree I can see, looking ahead and see only a in my mind impossible task. I need all the help I can get.

Focus on wanting to see day 3 and day 4 etc. Before you attempt to fall off, ask yourself is it worth going back to day 1 tomorrow? It's not. I promise you.

    Good luck!

Hi Freda, I'm a sweet addict, and congratulations on getting to Day 2! Day 2, is better than Day 1! And tomorrow is Day 3, your path is lined up ahead of you, it's a hard climb and you'll want to give up, but it is totally not impossible!! As you go along you get the hang of it and it gets easy :)
What I've found to be the worst is the first week, but once that's through you realise, you don't need all that stuff you've been craving for the past few days.
Don't give up :) because you goal is achievable, and every day you put it off, is a day where you could've gotten closer to where you want to be :)

Both Horrorfox and Kirsten had such great things to say! Thank you! You two are helping me as well! I too struggle with food addiction. I'm constantly searching for that high. I'm also on day two... and although it's tiring to think that this is my 100,000,000 attempt at day two, I know that I was once strong enough to do this before and drop 50 pounds. Now that I’ve gained it all back it's so depressing and I feel so defeated. But instead of searching for that high you get from eating something delicious and giving into your craving, try focusing on the high you'll get from not giving in and feeling healthier, sexier, and powerful. "Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels". I know focusing on a saying seams almost impossible when you have that voice in your head saying “you can eat that! You deserve it! It won’t set you back that much” but don’t trust that voice! Instead think of all the reasons of why your doing this. Maybe write it down? Yesterday I decided to write on a rubber band reasons as to why I need to stay focused. This is what I wrote: “Do it for the ‘Holy *kitten* she did it again!’” “Do it for the power/confidence” “Do it for the looks/stairs” “Do it to feel sexy again”. Wearing that on my risk was a constant reminder and when I went to grab for food I would see that reminder staring me in the face. Unfortunately I washed my hands not to long after and the rubber band got wet and washed off all my writing BUT maybe rewriting it daily is an even better reminder. It also gives me a chance to write something knew to keep me motivated. Best of luck to you! I’m struggling as well but the main thing we have to do is keep our eye on the price. Envision how good you’re going to look and feel! We can totally do this!

^^^ This 100%. Repeat that in a mirror if you have to. That pizza, filled with salt and delicious cheese makes your taste buds orgasm, but it ends up making the rest of you feel like a bag of garbage immediately after. At least it does to me. Not feeling sluggish, but alert, and light on my feet feels immensely better. Plus feeling comfortable in my own skin, and highly sexual because of it is the best feeling.
