Why does water not cut it? Do you sweat excessively?

Can you elaborate on what is wrong with just water?

Yes ... Propel helps more so I'm thinking my body needs something

I feel like waters not hydrating enough when I'm done

I would drink more then. Personally, I don't like to drink my calories, so unless you're lacking in protein...

I put a 32 ounce glass of water with mango-peach "water enhancer" -- artificial flavors, colors, and sweetener, so I hit the trifecta -- into the freezer just before I head to the gym and down it when I get back. It works fine for me.

Stay hydrated before, during and after your workout with water. If you sweat excessively, you can replenish with a Gatorade or other similar drink. Or have a v-8 or something (sounds weird but it's effective).

Most people are fine with just water. I think the recommendation for electrolytes is after an hour, I.E. Endurance runners, etc. but if you feel better with a drink-go for it.

Water for me! I drink a cup of coffee in the morning, but other than that I exclusively drink water until I get all 8 glasses of water in for the day. By then the day is about over.

You are probably craving the electrolytes. You could try to drink an electrolyte enhanced water (like Smart Water or generic brand). See if that helps and then that might be it.

Exactly ... That's why regular water just not enough ... I do sweat quite a bit when doing cardio
