There have been tons of studies that revealed that low carb GENERALLY works better. That said, these were studies that took place over months of controlled diets... 2 days isn't very much. Weight loss isn't linear. So y'know, if you really want to test it, try doing low carb for a month, and low fat for a month. Without giving it more time you can't know for sure.
So, results non-conclusive.
Also, I'm pretty sure the beer probably completely negated cutting out the fruit.
The main forum is not anti-low carb. The main forum is anti-woo. There's a big difference between the two. Low carb, alone won't make you lose weight. Low carb as a method to create a calorie deficit will help you lose weight.

There's a difference between being anti-low carb like fruititarians and vegan dieters, and the main forum's constantly explaining to people that low carb isn't magic, it is just another way some people avoid calories.TheVirgoddess wrote: »

Woo is ideas without real evidence for them. A large chunk of the diet industry is based on woo, and avoiding telling people the hard truth they don't want to hear from actual science - that you have to eat fewer calories than you use to lose weight, and that is the only way weight loss (besides water weight) happens.ClarityPeace wrote: »pardon me, new to this.. what is a woo. . .

Yep. I lost the weight using a low carb diet and have never had myself a problem in the main forums. Mainly because I understand that low carb is one way of many to get to a calorie deficit. I don't proclaim it is better or give it magical claims. It's just the method that gets me to the deficit easiest, but that's it. Things have been pretty smooth sailing for this low carber in the forum.
You get a high five!0
