Pretty Girls Get Free Stuff

I came across this video yesterday and I had to share. This woman spends two days trying to get free stuff. One day she's all dolled up: hair curled, makeup done, tight dress, heels. The following day she has no makeup on, her hair pulled back into a ponytail, and is wearing a frumpy outfit. When she asks for free stuff as the sexy version, she gets everything, almost always without hesitation. As the plain version, people laugh and look at her like she's crazy.

LOL where are these stores that are giving away free stuff? If it's clothes and makeup, I"m about to bust out the curling iron and 4 inch heels0

It won't let me watch it, but I can well believe it.
When I was at university, I needed some help with my dissertation project. I went in to my supervisor wearing dungarees and a t-shirt, just normal slobbing around clothes. He said I had to do it all myself, explained where I should start, but basically "you're on your own".
The next day, having achieved nothing the day before, I went back and asked again for help. This time he went and found me the references I needed, explained what I needed to do, and then hovered around the door asking if there was anything else I needed.
At which point I realised I was wearing a mini skirt, and a slightly tighter t-shirt.0 -
When I was single I dont think I ever once paid for a drink,or to get into a concert.Every concert tee shirt I have was also free0

i haven't seen this one, but i saw a different one in which the same girl went as herself and then was made up to be overweight. i'm sure you can guess the outcome...shallow, but true.0

This is so true, but wait she's only asking men for free stuff.
Would she get ANY free stuff if she asked a woman.
My answer is no.0 -
Thanks for sharing this. I used to do things like this in college. Where I'd dress certain ways on different days and see the reactions. Quite sad really. Then again...it's sometimes "understood" that girls who dress plainly are trying to go unnoticed while being dolled up asks for attention. Is it the RIGHT attention though? Don't mind me...just thinking out loud! ( ;0

Not always true........ my mother has a very out going personality,I have seen people bring or give her free stuff all the time, young 20 year old men call her mom and what ever she asks they say its on me. Ladies give her make up and creams or set stuff aside knowing its going on sale for my mom. She is not a looker and overweight most her life, but yet people trip over themselves to help her out.men come over mow er lawn, haul stuff for her free.....I however did not inherit her charm....lol. oh growing up when I was never allowed to wear jeans out in public, jeans were for around the house and house cleaning,to this day when out in public I wear dress slacks, sweaters ,nice blouses, don't always do the makeup, and or skirts.....even on the truck with my husband. I never ever saw my gma in pants. But I was taught you want respect, you dress for it.0

it's called the Halo Theory...where beautiful people get more opportunities and success in life than "ugly" people...0

Excellent point! This is so true, but wait she's only asking men for free stuff.
Would she get ANY free stuff if she asked a woman.

I found this very interesting as I often say I could write a book on perception and how I was perceived 15 months ago vs. now - but what I did notice is how she asked for free stuff while being dressed down was much different than how she asked when she was dressed up. When she was dressed up she flirted quite a bit more and was more friendly, the dressed down version was more blunt and matter of fact.0

The same goes for missing children or kidnapped adult women. Remember Jessica Lynch? The blond female soldier that was captured. Remember her face plastered all over the news. Does anyone remember the 2 minority ladies that saved her *kitten*? Probably not. Its sad but a true fact.0

Wow, that video depressed me a lil, but my boyfriend is always telling me that when i lose all my weight , it will be a different world , guys will hold the door open for me all the time and lots of things will change, people are awful, i treat people nice no matter what, and i believe even i had never been this way and i was always a bombshell that i would still treat even right, I guess it is the way i believe and the way i was raised0

sad but true..don't think it's anything new
I think personality though has a lot to do with how others perceive as well.....maybe that;'s what I want to believe
