Sorry! I posted this in the wrong forum.

I tried these brownies and my entire family liked it, toddler-tested and mom-approved.

I like the idea of black beans in brownies. Keep hearing it but have yet to try it!

I wonder if these freeze well?

Also do you think you could use just 1 egg and 2 egg whites?

    BUMP
  • I don't know if you can substitute eggs for egg whites. It's pretty light.

I just did a white bean cake for my son's 5th birthday, and his entire nursery class loved it (and they never suspected a thing, the poor dears). Can't wait to have an occasion to do some brownies!!

Do these really taste nice??? Very interesting recipe
  • I've made them and they are tasty. Rich, very moist. They are different from regular brownies, of course. Less chewy, less sweet. My boys liked them! I had to cook them longer than the recipe called for and they were still a bit gooey. Half the pan was gone quickly, but the rest sort of sat around. They really need to be eaten within 2 days for best taste/texture. They go bad quickly, so keep in the fridge or air tight container for maybe 3 days.
