    In Greece, the austerity programs that they are currently under to attempt (ha) to repay Germany are crushing them... Take the health sector:

    “The health system in Greece does not exist anymore. There are hospitals with no medicines or surgical instruments and clinics with no doctors,” said Liana Maili, the director of the Medecins du Monde clinic. “A third of the Greek population have no health insurance so they can’t afford medicines or examinations.
    “Thousands of children are not being vaccinated. Before the crisis there were centres all over Greece giving vaccines for free. But they have all closed. We are starting to see polio and measles come back.”
