Weight Plates Without CA Prop 65 Warning

Hi all,
I recently bought a pair of Gold's Gym dumbbells that have the California Prop 65 warning (cancer warning). I've done some research via other fitness forums about the warning and its frequency--so far seems like I could probably just wash my hands or use gloves. That doesn't seem too inconvenient, but ideally I would like to find some dumbbells (adjustable like Powerblocks or just standard/olympic handles and plates) that don't have that warning.
Can anyone recommend a few brands of plates and/or handles that don't have the Prop 65 warning? I've looked into Troy, Ivanko, and Hamilton so far (a little expensive). CAP and Weider seem to be the primary Prop 65 culprits.
I would definitely be amenable to the idea of purchasing used equipment as well. Any reputable used sites out there?
Thanks for your input!

I thought everything caused cancer.
Another option is painting the plates with epoxy floor paint, and wrapping the handles with silicone tape (Xtreme Tape, Rescue Tape, etc). The tape fuses to itself, forming a durable, hard coating.0 -
What are those things made out of?0

Cherimoose: It's all about dose, isn't it? I hadn't come across your suggestion about the epoxy/tape combo. I'll look into that further!
Stevencloser: The dumbbells are said to be made of cast iron. Here's a link to 'em--

It may well be something not as dangerous as the warning makes it seem. If there are reasonably priced alternatives, I would prefer to go that route!
I really don't need the prestige of powerblocks or ironmasters, just some standard or olympic plates and handles.0 -

If you don't need the quick adjustable ones, just get some olympic handles and plates and collars. Walmart is generally the cheapest for new stuff. Standard CAP stuff is fine. I load mine up with over 100lbs each and drop them constantly - they have held up just fine.0 -
DopeItUp: Don't standard CAP plates have the same warning?0
