    I did it! I reached my goal weight! (pics)

    The picture on the left is actually a couple of months before I started but it's the closest pic I had.

    SW: 237
    GW: 153
    CW: 153 (YAY!)

    Over the past 16 months I have lost 6st (84 lbs) and gone down about 5 dress sizes. I did all this without starving myself or denying myself foods that I love! Instead I simply controlled my calorie intake and discovered a love of walking!

    I have learnt so much about portion sizes, proper nutrition and healthy, sustainable weight loss/management. Discovering My Fitness Pal was a godsend for me and now I feel so much happier and healthier! I am proud of myself and I never intend to go back to that picture on the left.

    Now my goal is to focus on building strength and muscle tone and to maintain my new healthier self! And also to continue eating delicious foods!

      How tall are you? I started at about 237 too, and I'm hoping to get to around 150! I'm 5"7.

      Great job!! You look awesome. I was at similar weight and lost 39 pounds so far. You're an inspiration to me.
