Depends on the wrap and the bread.

I rarely eat either, so I was surprised when I was conparing the nutrition facts of different brands of bread. Some had like 10g of protein, some had super high fiber, some were low on both and obviously the calories varied between brands too. I'm sure wraps are the same too, so you probably just need to spend a little while in the bread/wraps aisle comparing nutrition facts and finding the one best suitable for your goals.

Depends on the wrap and the bread.

Most bread is about 100-110 calories a piece,.

I have 2 kinds of bread in my house - one is 45 calories a slice, one is 120 per slice.

The whole wheat bread I usually eat is 60 calories a slice. Most wraps are well over 100 calories. I did find some great wraps called Tumarro that are only about 70-80 calories. I liked them but for a few more calories, two slices of bread is more satisfying.

It still depends on the brand.

My wraps I use are 90 calories each while the bread my boy friend uses are 100 calories a slice.

Read the nutritional labels on the bread and the wraps and choose which one fits your goals better.

Lol. Shows you how much I know. I use fresh bakery bread, so I actually have to weigh each slice because they're all different sizes depending on which part of the loaf you are using. I was guesstimating. :frowning:

No - you did I good estimate! Fresh bread is so delicious. I love it. A food scale is super helpful with bread - we sometimes get those round loaves and definitely need to weigh all those slices too.

OP - what do the packages say? Or where is this bread and wraps coming from? As stated above it can vary quite a bit.

That depends on a lot of different factors, but if you are looking for lower calorie choices check out some of the wraps available. I switched from Pepperidge Farm 15 grain bread (220 calories for 2 slices) to a wrap that is 90 calories. That's an extra 130 calories to play with. It's worth it to me and I like the wraps. Peanut butter and banana is a snap now, no having to make the banana fit bread, just wrap the peanut butter smeared wrap around it and go. Quite convenient.

ALDI has flatbread that is 90 calories or 100 calories, it's all I eat now unless I find myself at Olive Garden eating breadsticks. :-)

Aw I got it in a restaurant so I can't check the nutrition I basically got a sweet chilli chicken wrap with peppers and onion on a flour tortilla wrap so wondering how many calories in it?

Go to the database - type in flour tortilla. Pick one with a higher or middle calorie amount.

Okay. I was not aware of that. I guess all you can do is make an educated guess.
