I feel like I've been trying so hard at this and getting nowhere. My eating habits are drastically different than they used to be and I exercise every chance I get, and I follow the calorie goal.. yet my weight has been the same for like a week now. I've heard about how the weight "melts off" people who make big changes, but it's not happening with me. Ugh.. I need more motivation and/or advice.

One week? I would give it more time.

Also you said your eating habits is different but you did not say less than before? CICO

Weight loss isn't linear. There will always be weeks where you don't lose or even gain. Keep going, and if you haven't lost in another 2-3 weeks, then you'll want to look into ways to tighten up your logging.

The problem is you don't know enough about the process. There is a fluid flux in the body that makes daily and weekly weigh-ins problematic. Fluids might make your overall weight stay the same even though you're really losing fat. If this continues to frustrate you, I recommend bi-weekly weigh-ins, under the same conditions every time.

I eat WAY less than I used to, cut out fast food, fried food, sugar (besides natural), cut pop and drink nothing but water. I used to eat anything I wanted, anytime I wanted and as much as I wanted.. now I stay under the calorie goal.
