Cutting out Sugar and Alcohol

Why? You can lose weight and still consume sugar and alcohol. Everything in moderation.
I agree. I have cut out sugar before for long periods of time, even most fruits (still consumed berries or sour Granny Smith apples). But now I just stay within my daily calories goal and eat well for the most part, with a bit of sugar like a teaspoon of sugar in my tea, or I'll have a small magnum bar once in a while. For me it took many attempts to find the balance and I do believe that cutting out sugar cold turkey taught me a lot, but am grateful that I can do it in moderation now. And trust me, I was a sugar junkie! ;-)
Please all feel free to add me as a friend :-)0 -
Sugar is not a problem for me alcohol is! I like to have a drink or two after work. The program I do restricts alcohol and sugar for 30 days and I had to cheat here and there because it is a tough habit to break. Mind over matter though I guess.0
