Need suggestions for cushioning running insoles, please

Hey there! I walk or walk/jog daily, & am starting to really feel the road beneath my feet. I'm not willing (or able!) to just go buy new running shoes at this point, so want to try a new insole in my current Asics Nimbus 15s (am currently just using the ones that came with the shoes).
What make/model of runner's insole would you recommend? I have a fairly neutral gait, so am looking for cushioning. Also would likely need to be something I can order online, as I'm in a rural area (nearest small city is 2 hrs drive away). All suggestions welcomed & appreciated!

Well, Superfeet are the standard, but if your shoes are worn out, you really really should invest in a new pair. "Feeling the road" is more likely to be a worn out midsole than insole, unfortunately. When shoes wear out, you are much more likely to get injured.
Have you looked on 6pm.com for discounted versions of last season's models? What about kohls.com? You can probably get a new pair for not much more than the cost of a good pair of insoles.0 -

Agree with this.

Due to the cost of quality running shoes I only "run" in my running shoes and use others for walking. I usually start to feel the road between four and five hundred miles. My feet really start to take a beating at that point.0

Spenco Comfort Insoles (the green kind) have a good, even layer of cushion, with no curves or lumps like most insoles.
I wouldn't walk in shoes with a raised heel, including Nimbus. It's not ergonomically correct. I'd wear zero-heel shoes like skateboard shoes, Keds, etc.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions & information. Due to some issues with my feet, the Asics were suggested & have been amazing--if I find my feet are flared up, I can switch out to them & count on having my feet settle back down quickly. Will definitely look into 6pm.com & see if they ship to Canada.0
