Yes! It smells just like you'd imagine from what you've read, and it tastes even worse! Like hazardous chemical waste!
I had forgotten all about it. Thank you, now, I can look forward to some more months of nightmares
I was going to say carambole and raw celery.
I will eat, but not buy, avocado, watermelon or khaki/persimmon/sharon.
I have never had success with nashi or papaya.
More than 25 grams of kiwi, raw peppers or snap peas = stomach pains.
Tomatoes have to be completely pureed.
Mushrooms can not come from a can.
Corn must be baked/grilled, not boiled, and be fresh, not canned.
Apples can not be pink.
The rest I0 -
Durian is BLECH. Taste is okay, but the smell is like rotting garbage and meat. (LOVE jackfruit, though)
Don't like papaya or dragonfruit.

Start a big pot of vigorously boiling, salted water (as salty as the sea) and drop the kale leaves (not stems) in... Cover, wait 3-4 minutes, then drain.
Immediately shock with ice and water to stop the cooking. The shocking process will make the color pop, too. Instead of Army green, it will be grass green.
Drain again and squeeze out as much of the excess water as you can. Water will cause quick spoilage.
Line the kale in a paper towel lined Tupperware container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
As needed, add the kale to a hot saute pan, with hot olive oil, fresh garlic, minced shallots, red pepper flakes, kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
Serve as a side with a protein of choice.0 -

This thread makes me sad...
Come to my place and I'll prepare all these for you the correct way and you'll love them!!0 -
Oh there are so many I am not fond of but also a lot I love. Worst have to be asparagus (tastes like gasoline smells to me if that makes sense), mushrooms, olives for veggies and pears and apricots for fruit (but I like plums and pluots which are similar to apricot). Pears double down on nasty with a bad taste and a bad texture - just thinking about it makes me want to gag.
Of course as I am typing this I am having one of my favorite dinners (even before trying to lose weight) - a veggie plate with raw celery, tomatoes, bell peppers (red and yellow), cucumber and sugar snap peas. I am sure many of you are cringing at that right now (I also have a nice smoked chicken sausage with it for protein but that isn't a veggie).0 -
dragon fruit , star fruit , black currants raw aren't very good , honey dew melon is bleh, spaghetti squash, american cucumbers0
-
eggplant & bananas (tolerable only if blended or baked into something else), ripe papaya, persimmons0

beets. Mangos. I love a mango smoothie or margarita but not the fruit itself. A coworker is always trying to pawn mangos off on me. Ugh, no.0

Celery and bananas that are ripe. I like them to almost crunch.0

I hate raspberries, and am not particularly fond of kiwi or ripe papaya (although I love green papaya salad)
I don't like most mushrooms (which aren't really a veggie anyway, but more akin to athlete's foot)...but can occasionally tolerate them if they are sautéed in enough butter and wine.
I will only eat olives to be polite, and I can't get excited about cauliflower.0 -
