Why we can't use metric units?

Question is simple: why we can't use metric units?

Example: how stupid to mesure steamed califlower in cups? I would prefer to use gr / dkg as it's much more accurate. That's why we have kitchen scales isn't it?

Please add the metric mesurement options to the recepies. No scale can mesure 1 cup..... (and it's a bogus amount since you squeeze onto 1 cup like 5 cup steamed califlower is you stand on the top...)

Do you mean for ingredients you add to the recipe builder? Just like your food diary, you just need to search around until you find an entry that has the nutritional information you believe is correct and a measurement that will work for you (converting from ounces to grams/ml is pretty easy; cups to grams obviously less so). The recipe builder is a bit less user-friendly than the food diary, but it can still be done if you play around a bit and get the hang of the best ways to search for ingredients.

Yeah if it's not in grams that means the user did not input the food in grams. Look for an entry that uses grams and if you can't find one, unfortunately you'll have to make your own, or try to do the conversion. It's a struggle I figure a lot of us face.
