I'm trying again, to lose weight. I have a lot to lose. I'm a momma with three kids, 6 months, 5 years, and 8 years. I was in nursing school and when I became pregnant I had to put school on hold. I will be starting again in the fall. I need help. I seem to fail over and over again. I'm hoping this will be the last attempt and I become happy and comfortable in my own skin.

Hi Ronda- Welcome to the site. This is a great place with many supportive people who are available to help you as needed. Just remember that some members live in other parts of the world so you may not get immediate responses, but it is cool having friends from around the world. I am sending you a friend request if you are interested. I do not have kids but I do teach middle school so in reality I have about 100 students a day. Have a great day.
  • DONT GIVE UP! Please Rhonda.I had the same problem as you...trying over and over again....don't try.....do! Doing instead of trying always works! I have 30 ILBs to lose and have carried it for over 25 years...finally I stopped saying I was going to lose the weight and did something about it..I had a friend who said "Just start out slowly working out 30 minutes a day...then I had another friend that told me about a Boot Camp...soooo....I joined the "boot camp"...it is working for me....I also have a pilates CD that I use at home ....find what is right for you...start walking for 30 mins a day for a while and see if that works.....what really got me started was that I signed up for a 30 mile Walk For MS with a friend of mine...once I committed to it I had to go through with it...I have been training ever since...the walk is next week end...I'll let you know how I do.Please dont give up! Let me know how you progress.
