Ugh leg soreness

any tips on healing quicker from sore legs?. Just started running again and this part is not fun

I've found that riding a bike or taking a spin class really helps with the soreness. You don't even have to go all out - a leisurely ride does the trick.0

Foam rolling and voodoo wrapping seem to help reduce mine.0

I'm really feeling your pain I have stepped up my running frequency and boy I am feeling it stretch and hydrate I make sure my after workout food is high protein and when that soreness is borderline pain I rest I ran 7.5 sat hiked 3 and biked 24 on Sunday monday was total rest for the legs tuesday was 5.6 run and wed. 3.1 run yesterday no legs I definitely try to alternate what I am working I have my first half marathon in October and my first Spartan Beast in September so I have kicked it up a notch with my workouts and trying to stay injury free0

Foam rollering, using a hard massage ball to trigger point my calves and rest.0
