How to log roofing

Hi all, I will be reshingling a roof next week and I'm wondering how to log it. Should I increase my activity level, and if so to what? Or should I log it as exercise, and if so as what? This will involve me carrying bundles up two stories on a ladder as well as nailing and cleanup. Thanks!

Here's a calories burned calculator that has the option to put how long you did Roofing -

Enter your stats and time and get the calorie burn it gives. Then create a custom entry in MFP and log it.0 -
Try 'carpentry, general' under exercise. It appears to be pretty accurate.0

Or do this^
Didn't even know they had that entry! :laugh:0 -
I would not log the entire time though. You effort will vary throughout the time that you are doing this and the calorie burn will be inconsistent. Do you have a step counter? Maybe just let that do your calculating. If not, maybe only log about half the number of hours, and then only eat back about half of that. If you plan on eating back all of the extra calories you could really be over/underestimating.
Have fun with it! I love doing my renos.
ETA: better suggestions above0 -
I do a lot of activity that isn't "exercise" and had a similar question a while back. Another MFP user kindly sent me this link. Maybe roofing is in there.
