Should I weigh in?

I have a little question. At the doctor's today, I was 158. My scale at home says 163. Should I weigh in at 158? What would you do?

Stick to the at-home scale. That will give you the most accurate picture of your weight loss over time.

The most important thing about weighing is consistency. Same time, place and same bat channel. NO, I would keep using your scale. If you feel it's wrong, (weigh a 10 pound bag of flour), then buy a new one.

Keep using your scale just be consistent - like others said. Try to weigh yourself every morn after you use the bathroom. Remember weight fluctuates with water, salt ingestion, Time of the month (bloating).

I would stick to my scale, and do as lifting4lis suggested and test the accuracy.... But I would secretly pat myself on the back for the lower weight at the doctors.

Dr's office scale should be calibrated for accuracy on a routine basis... so yes, definitely check yours out as suggested above... might be surprised to find that your actual weight is less than you thought!

I always rely on my scale at home. The one at the doctor's office always puts me 6-7 pounds higher. Then again, I'm usually clothed at the doctor... ;)

Check your scale and keep using the one you can always get to at the same time every time you weigh. I normally weigh more at the doctor's office because I'm fully clothed and have consumed food and/or drink. What's most important is getting a clear picture of how the weight is dropping.
