The joys of cold porridge

Hi,

I'm training with a team of four to walk 62 miles in July in less than 30 hours. When we walk we need to snack a lot, and we try to choose healthy snacks. My team mate gave us cold porridge yesterday! I thought it would be horrible, but it was delicious! She made it with skimmed milk, dried blueberries, banana, sultanas and honey. Try it, it really tasted good and it's an excellent low GI, low cal healthy snack.

I'm going to add some homemade granola next time.

    I like rice pudding cold aswell.,so I would imagine this would be nice aswell.

    Hi,

    The porridge goes all creamy and tastes very much like rice pudding, even if you make it with skimmed milk :smile:
