I work out on my abs for 10 mins a day.. but im seeing no progress...

How do you think she got her abs like this... :wink:

    1. Lower your body fat percentage dramatically.

    2. Work out your abs to failure. Change up your exercises every few days.
  • Have you checked out Jillian Michaels' 6 Week Six Pack? Something you should look into, it has brilliant reviews on Amazon! l have tried it a few times and it really does work your ab muscles! l'm still a little flump so l won't be doing it until l lose another 14lb :o) Oh and there's a DVD called 'Crunchless Xtreme Abs' by Jackie. She's got AMAZING abs! That's something you could look into as well! Good luck. You're doing so well xx

    For your abs to show like that, you have to have really low body fat. I agree with thkelly diet is a huge part also!

    WOWZA!! Those ARE some serious abs!
    It looks like that girl has about .5% body fat and she must do some mean core work. Your abs are great too, maybe just decrease your amount of body fat (and please don't think that I am calling you fat!) and hit the core training hard and you'll get there.
    Seriously though, wow. Do you know that girl?

    Have you tried Ab Ripper X on P90X? I did my first work out last Sunday and im STILL aching from it today. It has got really good reviews on the forums, so it might be something you could try?
    Its a 16minute work out and it works every single ab muscle you have. You do a total of 325 reps altogether

    what kinds of ab work outs do you do?

    I lie on my back, and raise my legs so my bottom comes off the floor, its a bit like a reverse crunch. I do this 20 times, then I do cross mountain climbers for 20 crosses, then go back and go the abs, then cross mountain body climbers.

    I then use a 12lb weight to do 12 reps 3 sets for my love handles.

    Then I lie with with legs to the side and life up to the side keeping one arm on the floor, so it works my obliques and love handles.

    But im seeing no results. I mix these up in my gym routine xx

    There's only 2 ways for abs like that!
    1.lower body fat% I think it's 8% for woman.
    2.work on abs alot!!!!!! And do workouts to increase muscle size.

    I agree. That is NOT sexy! You have a gorgeous tummy as it is but try six week 6 pack by jillian michaels if you want to tone more. It's great.

    I agree with those who say your abs are sexier.

    Women can seriously mess up our reproductive health by lowering our body fat to extremes.

    Lol, You guys are funny, I havent really got 'abs; though, it is not propperly toned! Will be though after these exercises that people have suggested :wink:

    FWIW the first pic is more attractive.

    Not that the 2nd pic isn't, but that's a little much for my tastes. Very impressive though.

    I would like to add that as much as I agree with everyone that I prefer the OP's abs to the other girl's, if the OP wants the other girls abs that's her choice. It's her body and her opinion of what is attractive is the only one that matters.

    As far as getting the totally ripped ab look, I have no idea. However, I was told by my very ripped female step aerobics instructor that the only way to build an actual six pack (besides getting off the layers of fat...which it looks like you have done) is to contract the abs twice. In other words, to crunch, hold the crunch, and then do mini-crunches on top or crunch even higher.     I think your abs look great and you look MUCH healthier than the other person. She seems to be to be WAY to skinny but that's just my opinion.

    P.S. I would love to have a stomach like yours but haven't seen anything like that since maybe Kindergarten!! ;)

    Your stomach is smaller than one of my thighs! I think yours looks fantastic - I'd swap ya no problem! BTW her boobs look fake so maybe her abs are lipo'd too?
    I agree with the other poster who said abs are all about diet.

    It is all about the diet, and we are not talking about starving yourself, it is all about the food you put in your body, plus it is also about full body workout.

    Your abs are dependent on your back muscles as well, a strong Core is really the key.

    These two guys are some of the best in the business, I plan on getting this for myself as well.

    But teh Diet is the key and you can't target one area, you need to target the whole body.
