i seriously don't know what to eat anymore. I eat pretty low carb, not as low as I should be eating being a diabetic but still. My blood sugars are always high or they always spike in the morning and it's seriously bumming me out because it's not helping with the weight loss at all. IDk what to even eat, part of me wants to just eat tuna eggs and protein shakes all day everyday. Has anyone else had this problem with their blood sugars or know what could be causing it??

Yes, lots of people have problems with their blood sugars. Most of them have problems because they don't do what they're told to do.

If you don't know what to eat, call the doctor and get a referral to a dietitian. They'll find out from the doctor what your deal is and then work with you to come up with a plan you can live with.

I have a friend whose mom lost her leg and died at 52 because she didn't follow the doctor's instructions. Her son is 25 and going blind because he didn't follow the instructions. So many people have horrible outcomes because they don't follow the instructions.

You're young and may think "It won't happen to me. It will happen to someone else." That's typical for young people - almost all young people think like that. It's why almost everyone in their fifties or sixties is wishing they'd done what the doctors said and telling young people to take care of their health, lol. Most young people get away with it for a long time. But very few get away with it forever. It catches up with you.

Be smart. Take charge of your health. Don't end up as one of the old people who wishes they had and is suffering and telling a young person to do it.

If just one generation of young people would heed the advice, the cycle would end, lol. :)

I suggest you get your doctor to recommend a dietician. Not a nutritionist.
They truly are a big help, esp. with diabetes.

I should probably see a dietician. And I already have problems because in my teens I didn't take care of myself whatsoever and now I'm paying for it but I got my blood sugars down and my a1c was great last time I went and now all of a sudden everything is out of wack and my weight isn't going down.

This is all in your control. Call the doctor tomorrow and get a referral. Take charge. It's your health and only you can take care of you.

Doctors can tell you what to do. Dietitians can give you a plan. Only you can follow it.

    Good luck!
