    You need to eat more to be healthy.
    Being skinny and sick isn't going to do you any good.
    Your body needs all sorts of nutrients and you can't get them eating so few calories. You need to eat different kinds of foods. Stuff you like from all kinds of food groups. Just log accurately and stick to the goal MFP gave you. You will lose fat and weight without sacrificing healthy muscle that you want and need to keep.
    Technically, you don't have to exercise. That will improve your body's fitness and create more calories burned so that you may find eating at a deficit easier to do. It may help to increase the rate of loss. Most people eat back some of their exercise calories and still lose at a good rate.
    The closer you are to a healthy weight for your body, the less weight you can expect to lose each week. That doesn't mean you need to work harder or eat less to reach 2 lbs a week. It just means that a healthy rate of loss can be .5 to 1 lb a week. Some weeks I even had a gain. For me this happens when I have TOM and after working out to such extent that I have muscle soreness as we will gain water weight with muscle inflammation. So those weeks don't bother me because I know it will go away.
    I'm only 18lbs to goal and if I lose .5 lb a week, I am very happy. Some weeks I don't lose at all and then some weeks I lose 1.5 or so. It varies and has nothing to do with how much I ate or how little I exercised. Over time (weeks and months) a weight loss trend occurs and shows that my efforts are paying off.
    There is no quick fix.

    My child is one of the reasons I'm trying to do better for myself. I'm an honest person. I said I will try it ^^ though changing my meal plan will be weird. And sorry Im really against therapy...I'm pretty positive I can meet the calories goal..thanks :3

    Please don't eat lower then 1200 calories unless under Dr supervision and if you are nursing, you need more calories. follow the myfitnesspal goal set up and eat in moderation. I eat ice cream almost every night and lost 3.6 pounds this week. We have to fuel our bodies to make them work efficiently.

    That's a very good point. If you're nursing, you need at least 1700-1800 in order to keep your supply going.

    Why will changing your meal plan be "weird"?

    And what happens if you can't meet the calorie goal: you continue to consume a ridiculously low amount of calories....you lose more weight but look in the mirror and still "don't see it"....your health becomes an issue. What then? Will you still be "against therapy"?

    Sorry....just don't understand that kind of thinking.
