Any super low calorie snacks that curb hunger? I'm hoping for under 300 calories.

Raw carrots or celery - you can nibble on it all day long, if necessary, as both are very low calorie.

A cup of Almonds, Greek yogurt, whole egg, cottage cheese, string cheese, veggies. These are just a few of the snacks that I eat in between meals.

I just had the best snack! Chocolate PB2. It was better than the Reese's chocolate peanut butter spread. Not kidding :)

Fats and proteins are satiating foods. Peanut butter, avocado, nuts, egg, cottage cheese.

Remember that products like PB2, that reduce fat, replace that fat with sugar. There's always a trade off. Sugar isn't a bad thing, but the fat that was removed is more satiating than the sugar will be.

I don't know about the chocolate Pb2, but the regular Pb2 contains only 1 gram of sugar. Not bad considering regular PB has more.

The chocolate PB2 has 3 grams of sugar. I love spreading it on a banana for a snack.

I like nonfat Greek with some protein powder and fruit mixed in. I use 1/2 scoop and 1/2 cup of berries- comes out to about 200 for me and is very filling.

Really, though, you can have a mini-meal for 300 calories. Chicken and vegetables, a huge salad with chicken or beans, light dressing, etc. Omelette. 300 calories is a good amount for a snack.

What exactly is this PB2 and where is everyone getting it?

It's powdered peanut butter that you mix with water to make a paste.
I get mine from a sports supplements store.

I hate both of these but I still get the nutrients because I juice 2 carrots, a stick of celery, an orange (peeled leathing pith on) and a nob of ginger.

Up to now I satiate my hunger cravings by drinking water. Zero calories. Also try to distract myself by going for a walk, a good film, book, or my art. Also I practice Fen Shui

Comming from a sports sumplement store, wouldn't this be like an energy supplement. These usually contain high energy ingrediants like glucose, dextrose, and sucrose all sugars that are packed with sugars.

They don't sell PB2 in Europe

@im_simply_karen, 300kcal is really a pretty good amount of calories. You can get some veggies or fruit and combine them with some protein and fat. I like cutting up an apple and spreading some peanut butter on it, for example.

@moog54, you practice Feng Shui to distract you from cravings??

    300 calories

Yogurt ... if you go no sugar, no fat, you can have quite a large bowl of it.
Bananas ... depending on the size, 2 or 3 of these
Cottage cheese ... mine is 84 cal for every 100 grams. If I had 300 cal, I could have a container and a half
Bowl of mixed veg ... you'd have to double check this, but you could have quite a large bowl.
La Zuppa's Spiced Red Lentil is really filling and only 172 cal. Mix it with some veg to make up 300 cal
    http://www.lazuppa.com.au/la-zuppa/bowls/spiced-red-lentil-soup

The list could go on and on.

300 cal is what I eat for lunch most days. There are lots of options.

Anything to help refocus and avoid the high calorie snacks, so a Fen Shui session helps to relax me, and refocus. It's difficult because I'm a chocoholic and will demolish a large bar within minutes.

PB2 isn't an energy supplement. I get mine at the local grocery store. If you make it, don't expect it to spread like normal peanut butter, but it tastes very good.

    From Bell Plantation's website.
. Freshly roasted peanuts are pressed to remove 85% of the fat and calories. The result is a delicious and all natural alternative to traditional peanut butter with twice the healthy proteins per gram than its traditional counterpart.

    and the nutritional info:

No. Sports supplement stores sell many different food items that are designed to meet a wide range of nutrient goals.

If you're in Europe it's not readily available, but can be bought online from Amazon or American food specialists.
